The Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women (MLAW) will host its annual fall conference, At a Crossroad: Gender, Race & COVID-19’s Impact on Maryland, online on Saturday, November 14, 2020.  

The Conference will provide information and strategies to activate and energize participants to successfully advocate for legislation impacting women and families during the 2021 Maryland General Assembly Session. 

Join us to:

• Hear a Message from Maryland Women Legislators
• Listen to a Panel Discussion addressing the Intersection of Race, Gender, and COVID-19 and its Impact on Maryland 
• Gain valuable insights from Advocates and Legislators presenting 2021 Legislative Proposals
• Network about these important issues in breakout rooms  

Participants will select the legislative proposals that will be included in the 2021 MLAW Legislative Agenda that is disseminated to every legislator and advocate throughout the state.  MLAW works in partnership with lead groups and legislators during the Session to advocate for these legislative proposals.
