Last week, we hosted an extremely successful Fall Agenda Conference.  Over 200 advocates, legislators and activists gathered in Baltimore to learn about the bills that will presented in the 2019 General Assembly.  Fifteen initiatives were presented.  The initiatives are:

• State Government Discrimination in Employment-Pregnancy and Childbirth
• Expansion of Maryland’s Vacatur Law for Survivors of Human Trafficking
• Education-Child Sexual Abuse Prevention-Employment Process
• Pregnant Women in Custody Protection Act of 2019
• Pre-Release Facility for Women
• Summer SNAP for Children
• Increase Maryland’s Minimum Wage to $15 by July 2023
• Adoption and Parentage Equality Act
